Nickolas Blackburn
CEO & Co-Founder
Nick Co-Founded BlueCurrent in 2020. As CEO, he leads the business across strategy, acquisitions, development and operations. Prior to BlueCurrent, Nick held positions at BP, Eastdil Secured, Thor Equities and PSP Investments. He received a BSc (Hons) from University College London and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge.
Anthony Haynes
Finance Director
Anthony is Finance Director at BlueCurrent, where he oversees the company’s financial strategy and capital management as it scales across the UK and Europe. Since joining in 2024, Anthony has played a key role in supporting BlueCurrent’s growth and operations. Prior to BlueCurrent, Anthony was Finance Director at Eagle Street, a real estate investment platform owned by Arrow Global, and also held roles at NatWest Group and PwC Dublin. Anthony is a Chartered Accountant and associate member of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).
Filip Plewinski
Associate
Filip is an Associate at BlueCurrent and joined the business in January 2024. Prior to BlueCurrent, Filip held positions at Eastdil Secured and also spent six years at Sage Homes, a Blackstone portfolio company. Filip received a BSc (Hons) from the University of Westminster and a MSc from University College London.
Jamie Spanswick
Associate
Jamie is an Associate at BlueCurrent and joined the business in December 2024. Prior to BlueCurrent, Jamie held positions at Wells Fargo and most recently spent over 3 years at PSP Investments as an Associate in the Real Estate Investment team. Jamie received a BSc (Hons) from the University of Bath and an MSc from the University of Reading.
Andy Gulliford
Senior Adviser
Andy is a Senior Adviser to BlueCurrent. He brings more than 40 years of experience across industrial real estate and logistics. Since joining, he has worked closely with the leadership team to scale the business. Prior to BlueCurrent, he spent over 19 years at SEGRO, including more than a decade as Chief Operating Officer and PLC Board Executive Director. Earlier in his career, Andy held senior leadership roles at JLL, ultimately leading the Industrial and Logistics division in Europe. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
